Lucys Story – Chapter 41
I got the greatest gift EVER from my Doggy Godmother, Sue. You will never, ever guess what it is. Nope, its not a stuff toy or a squeaky ball, or yummy treats. Dont get me wrong…I love them all, but this is something even better than all 3 of those things combined. My Sue gave me a Pet Massager. Yep! I couldnt believe it either. Id never even heard of such a thing. It feels sooo good. It gently tingles as my dad and mom stroke it over my muscles and joints. It feels sooo good, whoops, I guess I already said that, didnt I? Anyway, it feels so wonderful, (Hey, did you notice I changed the words?) that I have been known to doze off during my nightly massage session.
Now, after some time has passed, I have a growing issue with this. When I first got it my dad and mom gave me NIGHTLY massages. Now, after a couple of weeks my massages are down to one about every other day. Whats up with that? Cant they see how much I enjoy it?
Whats a dog to do? Ive got to come up with a solution to this only-every-other-night massage dilemma. If anyone has any suggestions for me please, oh, please send them to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Robins and Daffodils are sure signs of Spring!
We have received a birds eye witness report of a robin sighting. Not only of a robin, but also of 6 inch tall daffodil buds. In our greenhouse mind that makes it officially Spring! Can we get a great big alleluia?
By the way, here are just a few of our spring blooming plants that are waiting for good homes:
My father and a friend were talking about the doors they had installed so their animals could let themselves in and out of the house.
My dad asked his friend, who had two massive Great Danes,
Arent you afraid that somebody might crawl through the dogs door and steal something?
if you saw an opening that big, said his friend, would you crawl through it?
Do you like the color red?
Good! We do too! Our glazed oxblood red and deep red pottery has arrived. Take a look at our Lipstick Red pottery. Makes you want to pucker up, doesnt it?
If athletes get athletes foot, do astronauts get mistletoe?
Americas Best Flowers Fundraising Program Extended to April 15
Due to several schools mentioning the fact that Spring Break reduces the time for them to sell America’s Best Flowers gift cards we are extending the deadline to April 15 for all non-profit organizations.
Since Spring 2014 is here people are beginning to think about vegetable gardens, shade trees, flowering shrubs and glorious flowers.
What perfect timing for your non-profit organization to participate in Americas Best Flowers fundraiser program. Non-profit organizations earn 25% of the proceeds from each gift card they sell. For example, if your organization sells $500 of our gift cards, which are available in any denomination over $10, your organization would earn $125.
Please contact us if your non-profit organization is in need of funds for things such as (but by no means limited to):
- Local charities, (i.e. food pantry)
- Church mission trips
- New equipment or uniforms for your school sports program, or
- New equipment or uniforms for your school band or orchestra
Americas Best Flowers gift cards are valid at both our Cottage Grove and Edgerton locations.
If you are interested or have questions regarding our easy and profitable program, please contact Shirley at email@example.com.
