The Scabiosa is an easy to grow compact perennial with a long blooming period. The lavender-blue flowers and gray-green leaves look great as an edging or in large groups in borders or in rock gardens.  This perennial prefers medium well-drained soil in full sun, but it does tolerate part shade.  Don’t forget to deadhead as it will encourage additional bloom.  Another great thing about this perennial is that butterflies are attracted to it.

As always the featured perennial of the week is twenty percent off while supplies last!
