We love family traditions!
For many of you it has become a tradition to bring the entire family out to the greenhouse and have Mom, Grandma or anyone else who is ‘Mothers-Day-Special’ to you, pick out their own hanging baskets and planters. We, too, especially enjoy this weekend because we get to see so many of you.We will be open from 8 in the morning to 8 at night this Saturday. It’s going to be a very busy weekend at our greenhouse so we’d like to mention that the easiest hours to shop on Saturday, will be either early in the morning from 8-10 or later in the afternoon/evening from 4-8. For Sunday, the easiest hours to shop will be either 9-11 or 3-5. We look forward to seeing you and your families this weekend.

Our Kitchen – By Bev Wilson
Here is another recipe from Angie's kitchen. Asparagus is one of the first vegetables you can pick from your garden. In many of our minds, there is no better way to fix it than roasting. Hope you enjoy!
Angie’s Roasted Asparagus
There is nothing better than fresh spring asparagus, and this recipe is simple and delicious.
• 2 pounds fresh asparagus• Extra virgin olive oil• Salt (I prefer sea salt)• Fresh ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.Break off the tough ends of asparagus, and if they're thick, peel them.Place asparagus on baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and toss to coat.Roast asparagus for 25 minutes until tender but still crisp.Add slivered almonds or pine nuts for the last 10 minutes of cooking for an extra touch of flavor and crunch.
