Holiday Oatmeal Chocolate Chop Cookies
1 c Butter Flavor Crisco 1 c firmly packed brown sugar ˝ c granulated sugar 2 eggs 2 T milk 1 t vanilla 2 ˝ c old fashioned oats, uncooked 1 ˝ c all purpose flour 1 t baking soda ˝ t salt 1 c semi-sweet chocolate pieces 1 c red and green M&M’s 1 c coarsely chopped nuts
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat first six ingredients until smooth. Add combined oats, flour, soda, and salt; mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 3” apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes for chewy, or 10-12 for crisp cookies. Cool 2 minutes; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Makes about 4 dozen cookies
